Ivette D. Cubas, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician
Dr. Cubas was born and raised in South Florida. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Miami, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then completed a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University. Prior to entering medical school, she worked as a Research Coordinator in Miami completing clinical Phase I/2 of drug development for pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Cubas attended St George’s University School of Medicine completing her first two years of Basic Sciences in the West Indies and her last two years of clinicals in Brooklyn, NY.
Upon graduation from medical school, Dr Cubas completed her 3-year residency at University of Buffalo/Children’s Hospital of Buffalo which included research in Pediatric Nephrology.
She later completed a postgraduate year in Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Miami.

Dr. Cubas is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
She is a Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor for FAU College of Medicine.

Dr. Cubas enjoys reading, spinning and most importantly spending time with family and friends and her beloved Yorkie Godiva.
