He attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his residency at the University of Miami, Florida where he served as chief resident. Dr. Stine was an assistant professor for one year at the University of Miami where he had a private practice and helped to teach the OB\/GYN residents. His family brought him to North Carolina in 2012 where his wife Dr. Jessica Stine completed her Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.<\/p>\n
Dr. Stine then returned back to Florida where he has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area since 2015. Dr. Stine has maintained a very busy surgical practice thanks in part to his exceptional surgical skills. Using robotic techniques, he\u2019s been able to offer minimally invasive surgery to patients that would typically need more invasive\/open procedures allowing most of his patients the ability to go home the same day of the procedure. Dr. Stine is also very skilled at office surgical procedures and built a surgical suite in the office for the convenience of his patients.<\/p>\n
Dr. Stine has been very happily married to his wife Jessi since 2005. In October 2013, they welcomed their first child,<\/span> Michael Stine III, and in June 2017 they completed their family with the birth of their daughter Savannah Sophia Stine.<\/p>\nDr. Stine, especially enjoys anytime he can spend with his family. They are active and enjoy outdoor activities such as running, fishing, and beach time.
\nFun fact: if he wasn\u2019t fortunate enough to serve as a physician he would have been a chef. He and his wife enjoy planning meals and cooking together. Food Network is a staple in their house and provides them with new ideas. They are always looking for ways to transform their favorite comfort foods and into healthy gourmet meals.<\/p>\n<\/div>
