Dr. Patricia Anastasio

Dr. Patricia Anastasio

Dr Anastasio was raised in South Florida and enjoys it’s outdoor activities so much (running marathons, biking, scuba diving, etc) that she decided to never leave! She received her BS in Biology from the University of Miami, and then her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. After completing her Pediatric Residency back in Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1995, she then moved to Boca Raton where she has been in general private practice ever since. She is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has now been on staff at West Boca Medical Center and Boca Raton Regional Hospital for 20 years and counting! She is an affiliate professor at FAU school of medicine and also serves on several committees there including Health & Wellness. “Dr Patty” (as she is affectionately called by many of her adoring patients) has a passion for fitness and nutrition, and loves educating her families on how to live a healthful lifestyle. She also enjoys giving back to the wonderful community where she grew up by volunteering her time, and raising money for a variety of children’s charities in the area.

Dr. Josie Stone

Dr. Stone attended medical school at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, did her internship at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg and completed her Residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York where she served as chief resident of Pediatrics. Dr. Stone moved back to Florida in 1998 where she practiced Pediatrics in a large group until June 2009 when she started Advanced Pediatrics of Boca with Dr. Anastasio and Dr. Moore. She sees patients from newborn to age 18 and has a special interest in children with developmental disorders. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Stone is a wife and the mother of three beautiful daughters, has participated in several triathalons, including an Ironman in 2014 and is now enjoying mountain biking.

Dr. Coley Sheriff Rosenfeld

Dr. Rosenfeld grew up in Boca Raton and attended the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. She received her medical degree from Florida State University and completed her pediatrics residency at Washington University in St.Louis. She is board certified in pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the AOA Medical Honor Society. Dr. Rosenfeld has been practicing at Advanced Pediatrics of Boca since 2015. She volunteers at Temple Beth El as a medical advisor for their Covid Task Force. Her special interests include sports medicine and infectious diseases. Dr. Rosenfeld enjoys exploring national parks, HIIT style workouts, and chasing around her two kids, Ben and Max.

Dr. Susan Laufer

M.D, F.A.A.P

Born in Montreal, Canada, then transplanted to North Miami Beach as a child, Dr Laufer has long called Boca Raton her home. Her educational path began with a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude from Cornell University. She then studied medicine at the University of South Florida. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Emory University in Atlanta. She then returned to South Florida with her husband, where they raised their son and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs, exploring nature, gardening, photography and traveling.Her career path includes many years’ experiences in pediatric emergency, urgent care and hospitalist medicine. She then returned to primary care medicine, and now enjoys helping and watching families to grow healthy and strong.

Dr. Mai-Tram Nguyen

M.D, F.A.A.P

Dr. Nguyen completed her undergraduate degree with honors at the University of California, Irvine where she majored in Biology. She continued her studies at Ross University School of Medicine and completed her residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. Dr.Nguyen is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Following her residency, Dr. Nguyen practiced in Southern California where she served as Medical Director of Pediatrics and Director of Quality Improvement and Assurance. Love brought her to Boca Raton where she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring local restaurants, and playing with her 20-pound Siberian cat. She is proficient in Spanish and Vietnamese and looks forward to serving our local community.

Dr. Kaitlan Castillo

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Kaitlan Castillo is a board certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Having attained her Master of Science in Nursing as well as her Doctorate in Nursing Practice degrees from Florida International University, her research focused on childhood obesity prevention. Her graduating thesis on digital screen device misuses in children and how it affects weight is one of the many focuses Dr. Castillo integrates into her practice to educate her patients on how to obtain a healthier lifestyle. As the Executive Director of a non-profit organization, One for All, All For One, Dr. Castillo has traveled to underdeveloped countries in Central and Latin America as well as Haiti to provide medical support, education and necessities to those in need. She has also been a child swim instructor for over 10 years and continues to teach children throughout the community. Dr. Castillo is fluent in English and Spanish. When she is not in the office, she is spending time with her family and her daughter, Amani.

Bridget Guzzi

RN, IBCLC

Bridget is both a Registered Nurse and a Certified Lactation Consultant. She has over 40 years of experience as a hospital-based nurse, with over 20 years of experience working with and helping new mothers and their babies by providing guidance, support, and practical advice to ensure successful breastfeeding experiences. She offers valuable insights on proper latch techniques, positioning, and common breastfeeding challenges. This dual role allows her to offer comprehensive care, fostering the well-being and health of both mothers and infants. Bridget has a private lactation suite on site and is available daily by appointment. She also offers a complimentary 3-hour prenatal class once a month.
