COVID-19 Information and FAQ
Over the past few months, there have been major changes in the community due to COVID-19. These changes have also impacted the ways we are all able to interact and access care. Keeping you in good health remains our number one priority. You can be confident that we will continue to provide top-of-the-line care while ensuring your safety in the office. We are taking appropriate precautions and implementing enhanced safety measures with your health in mind.
We encourage you to call the office to schedule or re-schedule your appointments. We assure you that our team is doing everything we can to embrace the “new normal” and support your healthcare needs. We would like you to keep the following information in mind. If you have any questions at all, we welcome you to call us.
Are you still seeing patients?
Yes. We are utilizing Telemedicine. We are also seeing patients in the office, if needed, with an abundance of caution and preventive measures in place.
Are you still operating?
Yes. In certain situations, surgery is still necessary during the pandemic. Operating rooms are available with appropriate justifications.
What are your plans when the restrictions for elective surgery are lifted?
We will proceed with care while taking care of those patients that require surgical intervention.
When can I expect to have surgery?
This will be a very fluid situation and will depend on OR availability and indications.
- All patients will be scheduled as soon as possible.
- Patients who were already scheduled and cancelled due to the pandemic will be offered the first available times.
Should I be seen now if I have to wait for surgery?
Yes. Patients seen via telemedicine will be planned for surgery and scheduled as soon as the Executive Order banning elective surgery has been lifted. By seeing you now, you will be ready for surgery once we are able to schedule.
