Our practice is devoted to treating adult endocrinology disorders. Many endocrine diseases can be complex and difficult for patients to understand. Dr. Lurie\u2019s goal is to help you understand your condition and treatment options as well as the pros and cons of each treatment. This allows you to make an informed decision, hand-in-hand with Dr. Lurie.<\/p>\n

At the office of Alexander Lurie, MD, we treat a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions, most commonly those related to diabetes and thyroid disease, but also including obesity, hypogonadism (low testosterone), and calcium and bone disorders, such as osteoporosis. Our patients include adults 18 and over and women with diabetes and thyroid disorders during pregnancy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dr. Alexander Lurie offers diagnostic and on-site specialty services utilizing advanced, state-of-the-art technology and the latest techniques in endocrinology, ranging from thyroid ultrasounds to FNA biopsies. Dr. Alexander Lurie grew up in Chicago and attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where he graduated cum laude with a major in physics. He then moved back to Chicago, earning his medical degree from Rush Medical College in 1997 and completing his internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
