Studies recently showed that nearly 15% of American couples are infertile. Medicinally, this means the inability to conceive a child after one year of unprotected intercourse. Male and female infertility, menopause and genetics are all factors that contribute to the statistics. The lifestyle of today additionally affects all of the patients. A sedentary lifestyle, stress, poor diet, sexual history, smoking, alcohol, and many other risk factors contribute to infertility.<\/p>\n
Despite the outlook, medicine today and experts in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) are well skilled in helping couples in becoming parents. Personalized care, patient focus, and compassionate and warm setting are our priorities. Any condition concerning fertility is sensitive, and understanding the emotional aspect and psychological toll it takes on the patients is important for us.<\/p>\n
