Dr. Haushalter (known as Dr. H to most of her patients) is a board-certified dermatologist who is relatively new to Miami. She moved to Miami 4 years ago from Richmond, VA and is excited to join ToplineMD practicing medical dermatology. Dr. Haushalter completed her undergraduate degree at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama, and then obtained her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She practiced dermatology in Indiana for several years before moving to Richmond, VA. Along with her husband and two active boys, she is excited to call South Florida her permanent home! With over 14 years of dermatology experience, she is confident in treating all diseases of skin, hair, and nails. However, nail disease, hair loss, and inflammatory skin conditions are some of her favorites. She is an expert in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, which is very much needed in South Florida. She not only thrives on treating the most common conditions, but looks forward to the challenging cases that have run out of treatment options, need a diagnosis, or require complicated therapies.

After completing the prestigious six-year BS/MD Honors Program in Medicine and graduating summa cum laude from the University of Miami, Dr. Liat Corcia completed her pediatric residency at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. During her time there, she researched closed loop insulin therapy (artificial pancreas system) in young children with type 1 diabetes. During her pediatric endocrinology fellowship at the University of Miami, her interests turned to childhood obesity, type 2 diabetes prevention, and the treatment of various general endocrine disorders.
