MFM Specialists (Perinatologists) are OBGYN physicians who have completed additional education and training to become high risk pregnancy experts. MFM Specialists care for women with both chronic health problems, and those who face unexpected problems that may develop during pregnancy, such as pre-term labor, gestational diabetes, or high blood pressure. Women with multiple gestations, diabetes, or who become pregnant after the age of 35 are often referred to a Perinatologist for additional monitoring during their pregnancy.<\/p>\n<\/div>
