What is the status of the contract renewal between Humana and the practice?

So far, we have not been able to reach an agreement with Humana. We are hopeful that Humana will see the value that we bring to patients in order to avoid a full termination of the contract effective December 1, 2020.

I have an appointment scheduled with my doctor after November 30, 2020. What should I do?

Please contact your physician’s office to see if you are eligible for continuity of care. If you are not eligible to obtain continuity of care, then your out-of-network benefit rates would apply.

Who is eligible for continuity of care?

In the event that we are not able to come to a resolution, some patients may be eligible to receive a continuity of care authorization from Humana. This includes patients who are receiving any active course of treatment for a condition.

What other insurance carriers does your practice accept?

Please call your physician’s office to confirm coverage with other insurance carriers.
