Patients should know as much as they can about what the exams look like so that when they come there is no fear or anxiety. Our gynecology exams include a number of diagnostic procedures that determine the health of the female genital tract. Usually, they start around the age of 16 and last up to 70, depending on each patient.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An ordinary exam procedure usually begins with anamnesis – an open conversation between the doctor and patient in order to get as much information about their condition. Patients are encouraged to speak freely about their current state, there is no point in being shy when your health is concerned.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

This is followed by an inquiry into personal and family medical history – the doctors need to ask about previous illnesses the patient or the patient\u2019s family had.
