Maria Suescum-Diaz, MD
Dr. Suescum was born and raised in Venezuela where she earned her Medical Degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela with Honors. After moving to the USA she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Reproductive Research Unit at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Suescum completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia where she had the honor to serve as Administrative Chief Resident. She received the “Arnold W. Cohen Honorary Award” for her exemplary commitment to the community and the residency program. She also served as a Resident Reporter for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Suescum offers personalized care for women of all ages, providing excellent and professional services in General and High-Risk Pregnancies, gynecology, infertility, and Laparoscopic Surgery. She takes pride in education and continuity of care as a way of building strong relationships with her patients. Her goal is to make her patients feel heard and connected to a trusted specialized physician. Dr. Suescum is bilingual which also helps her connect with different cultures.
She is married with two children and enjoys outdoor activities, quality time with friends and family, exercising, traveling, and cooking.
