Important Information About COVID-19<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Over the past few months, there have been major changes in the community due to COVID-19. These changes have also impacted the ways we are all able to interact and access care. Keeping you in good health remains our number one priority. You can be confident that we will continue to provide top-of-the-line care while ensuring your safety in the office. We are taking appropriate precautions and implementing enhanced safety measures with your health in mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We encourage you to call the office to schedule or re-schedule your appointments. We assure you that our team is doing everything we can to embrace the \u201cnew normal\u201d and support your healthcare needs. We would like you to keep the following information in mind. If you have any questions at all, we welcome you to call us. In an effort to keep our patients, families and staff healthy, we are implementing the following policies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

\u2014 Will your office be open?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our office and staff will be seeing scheduled patients and taking care of you and your unborn child. However, during these times of evolving data and recommendations we ask you to check with our office, website, social media pages (Instagram\/Facebook) as well as phone messages for updates. Our goal is safety first.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Should I keep my appointment if I have a mild cold or flu?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We kindly ask if you have mild cold or flu like symptoms, stay home and reschedule your appointment for 2 weeks from now. Sicker patients with fever or shortness of breath please contact your primary OB and go to the ER.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Are there any restrictions for appointments during this time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to minimize contacts or exposures, we are not allowing visitors to appointments. We are also requiring that you wear a mask to the appointment. We ask you to please not bring children to appointments during this time of concern.<\/p>\n

\u2014\u00a0What is the best prevention?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prevention is the most important. Wash\/clean your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If you are using hand sanitizer contain at least 60% alcohol. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Stay away from large groups or crowds.<\/p>\n

\u2014 What should I fo if I am feeling sick?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Call your OB. They will help you determine if you should stay home or go in to be evaluated and where.<\/p>\n
