Ruptured Ovarian Cyst<\/h2>\n

A ruptured ovarian cyst is a condition in which an ovarian cyst breaks open and releases its contents into the abdominal cavity. This can cause a variety of symptoms, depending on the size and location of the cyst. Some women with a ruptured ovarian cyst may experience sharp or dull pain on one side of the lower abdomen, as well as swelling or tenderness in the area. They may also have nausea, vomiting, or fever. Other women may have no ruptured ovarian cyst symptoms at all.<\/p>\n

The rupture of an ovarian cyst can occur spontaneously or due to an underlying condition such as endometriosis or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).<\/p>\n
