Dr. Alejandra Angel<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Alejandra Angel, MD, FACOG, obtained her medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Escuela de Medicina Jose Maria Vargas in 1998. She then moved to the United States, completing her OB\/GYN residency at the State University of New York in Stony Brook, New York, in 2004.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Dr. Angel has more than 20 years of experience in general obstetrics and gynecology. After completing her residency, she relocated to Providence, Rhode Island, where she worked as a physician for a nonprofit organization providing care for the underserved community.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Soon thereafter, Dr. Angel was appointed clinical instructor for the Brown University Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program. Today, Dr. Angel has a special interest in women\u2019s health, exercise, and pregnancy.
\nIn addition to her private practice, Dr. Angel is affiliated with Baptist Hospital of Miami. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
\nDr. Angel resides in Miami and enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.\u00a0She maintains an active lifestyle, competing in triathlons, Ironmans, and marathons.
