She attended medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital \/ University of Miami.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Following her residency training in 1983, Dr. Gersten started her private practice as one of the first female OB\/GYNs in south Miami.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>In 2000, Dr. Gersten combined her passions for patient care and the advancement of women’s health when she founded New Age Medical Research Corporation, a private clinical research study site. Since its inception, New Age has completed more than 100 major clinical trials and has generated numerous publications.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/i><\/i><\/span>Read More<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>Over the years New Age has conducted clinical research on contraception, menopause, hormone replacement therapy, vaginal infections, menstrual disorders, urinary difficulties, sexual dysfunction, and other important health concerns.<\/p>\nDr. Gersten\u2019s dedication to service is exemplified by her volunteer work. Since 2009, she and her daughters have been active with Medical Students in Action, a non-profit group of physicians, medical students, and others that provide essential healthcare and health education to the underserved in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n

Dr. Janet Gersten was born in Brookline, Massachusetts and earned her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University, graduating with honors. She attended medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital \/ University of Miami.<\/span> Dr. Gersten\u2019s dedication to service is exemplified by her volunteer work. \n<\/span>In 2000, Dr. Gersten combined her passions for patient care and the advancement of women’s health when she founded New Age Medical Research Corporation, a private clinical research study site. Since its inception, New Age has completed more than 100 major clinical trials and has generated numerous publications.<\/span>
