Originally from Trinidad and Tobago , she immigrated with her family to this beautify county at the age of 15. She began her secondary education at Florida State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then received her medical degree at The University of Florida where she was honored to be inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, an elite honors society. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas. After residency she and her husband relocated to Fort Lauderdale, where she became a part of OBGYN BY THE SEA.<\/p>\n<\/div>
She is now the mother of two fabulous children that keep her busy and is often asked how she is able to balance work and her personal life. “That is something I will always be working on, but it is much easier, when you love what you do. ” Dr Fahey truly enjoys taking care of women at all stages of their life. She recognizes the importance of compassion, validation and education to both ones physical and mental health. She tries to complement her practice of medicine with holistic alternatives, striving to give each patient the time and attention they deserve.
