After moving to Venezuela he went to medical school at Universidad Central in Caracas. He transferred to Central America Health Sciences University in Belize where he earned his medical degree.<\/p>\n
Dr. Diaz-Socarras completed his first year of postgraduate training in Family Medicine at HUMC\/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) where he developed a special interest in Women\u2019s Health. He soon realized that he wanted to concentrate his efforts in this area. He then completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NUMC, a major affiliate of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook.<\/p>\n
During his residency Dr. Diaz-Socarras conducted research in areas of antenatal testing in order to reduce cesarean delivery rates. He also developed a particular interest in pelvic surgery techniques and its application in high-risk obstetrical cases and the improvement of pregnancy outcomes.<\/p>\n
Dr. Diaz-Socarras is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) since 2016; he is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) since 2017. Dr. Diaz-Socarras provides comprehensive care to women of all ages in a very compassionate way.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\u201cI don\u2019t know where to start, the best OB EVER !! When I first went to his office, I was 7 weeks pregnant & he asked me how I heard about him. I told him I saw the reviews online. He told me not believe everything I read online. He made me feel really comfortable. He delivered my baby boy perfectly I tried going natural but that didn\u2019t work so I had a C section and he did soooo good, it\u2019s been 2 months and you can barely see my scar. It\u2019s still healing so I know soon you won\u2019t be able to see it at all, and it was painless. I don\u2019t know how to thank him. But I\u2019m happy I found him.
