Originally from Jamaica, Dr. Dudley Brown Jr. moved to Florida, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Miami. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Florida before moving to Chicago to complete his residency at Cook County Hospital, where he was recognized as Resident of the Year. While living in Florida, he learned conversational Spanish, but during Residency, he gained a greater knowledge of Medical Spanish. He began his private practice career in Illinois, where he practiced for nearly 9 years, further refining his gynecologic surgical skills, and holistic-minded approach to obstetrical care.

Dr. Brown has been a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 2003, dedicating his career to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to women throughout every stage of life. For more than 15 years, he has called Florida home, where his practice manages the full range of women’s health needs. From helping adolescents and young women navigate challenging periods and other gynecologic concerns, to family planning, pregnancy, perimenopause, and menopause. He takes time to understand each patient’s individual needs, combines his medical expertise and experience to develop a personalized plan of care. As his medical career evolved, his commitment to patient care and advocacy expanded into healthcare leadership, prompting him to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northern Illinois University. Doing so has allowed him to advocate for Women’s Health on a larger scale than the exam room and office. He leverages his combination of clinical expertise, and business knowledge to further advocate for women through his leadership and service on the Medical Executive Board at Jupiter Medical Center, as well as the Quality Control Committee to ensure patient care is at the center of decision making.

Dr. Brown has developed specialized expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, performing procedures in both office and hospital settings. His surgical experience includes colposcopy, endometrial biopsy and ablation, hysteroscopic procedures, laparoscopic surgery, and robotic hysterectomy. Through these advanced techniques, he helps women find effective treatment for conditions including painful periods, fibroids, endometriosis, and other gynecologic conditions, with the goal of providing effective treatment while minimizing recovery time and disruption to daily life.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Brown believes in making his own health and fitness a priority daily. He enjoys spending time with his family (including his Boxer named Zion & Frenchton name Kilo) and, watching his boys stay active, compete in Olympic Weightlifting, Basketball, Volleyball, and Track and Field. Traveling and photography are among his personal passions, but his greatest joy is traveling with his family and creating experiences that allow his children to see the world, experience cultures and make memories together.
