Dr. Monica Martinez-Rubio
Dr. Monica Martinez-Rubio is a board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist. She was raised in Miami, FL and received a Bachelor of Science at the University of Miami. She completed her residency program in Pediatrics at the University of Puerto Rico and her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Texas Children’s Hospital / Baylor College of Medicine in Texas. She has been practicing in Florida since 2018.
During her fellowship, Dr. Martinez-Rubio’s research focused on technology use and glycemic control of Hispanic patients with type 1 diabetes. She enjoys all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology. Her clinical interests include thyroid disorders, disorders of growth and puberty, type 1 diabetes, and obesity. Dr. Martinez-Rubio’s aim is to work together with patients, families, and other care specialists, to provide compassionate and comprehensive quality care to patients and families with diabetes and endocrine disorders.
Dr. Monica Martinez-Rubio lives in Jupiter, FL with her husband, Jason. When not focused on her practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, trying new restaurants, and working out.
Dr. Monica Martinez-Rubio will ensure that when you visit the office, you are provided with compassionate and personalized care for your family. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
