Dr. Schertzer is board certified in Family Practice and has been in practice for over 30 years. Dr. Schertzer received his Medical degree from the University of Miami and later completed his residency at St. Vincents Hospital, affiliated with the University of Florida.

Dr. Schertzer believes that access to primary care is critical in helping patients achieve optimal health and live a long-lasting life.

Dr. Schertzer’s old fashioned caring, friendly bedside manner, combined with his broad knowledge of diabetes, depression and preventative medicine and their treatments, make him the preferred Family doctor in Plantation, Florida.

Dr. Schertzer’s vision is to provide compassionate and personal care to patients of all ages. He believes in empowering his patients with the knowledge and tools to make the most informed decisions for themselves in their health journeys.
