Claudette is from Macclenny, Florida. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Florida, in 1997. Claudette worked closely with Dr. Garcia while a Labor & Delivery Nurse at Baptist Medical Center, before receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Florida in 2000. Claudette performed her APRN externship with our office under Dr. Garcia and Jan Ely, APRN.
She is a warm and caring person and Dr. Garcia would have considered her an asset to his practice at that time, however, Claudette wanted to work closer to home and her young children. She worked in Macclenny, for 13 years in Family Practice, specializing in Women’s Health. Finally, in 2013, Claudette joined our practice, where she is loved for her Southern Charm. Claudette is married to Marcus Mallory and they have 3 children, Kessler, Blakely, and Walker, which were all delivered by Dr. Garcia. In her free time, Claudette enjoys hunting, watching college football, water sports & reading.

I love the staff of river city. My whole pregnancy went smoothly with these great people. Kendra Gillespie is a gem of a person, she treated me so well with all the complications I had. The sonography lady gave a detailed explanation of the baby parts. I loved both of them…On delivery day Gillespie took utmost care of me even when it’s 10:30 pm in the night and nurses in Baptist helped me for safe delivery. I would recommend this place for people who are expecting babies❤️

I took my elderly neighbor to this office, they were all kind to her and treated her kindly. They were amazing and work with you to make sure your appointment time works for you a well as them and they don’t leave you sitting there like many doctors office’s do. I will definitely recommend them during these unsettling times.
