Born and raised in New York, Dr. Lorraine Ospina-Herrera received her degree in Psychology from New York University and completed her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics at New York Medical College and upon completion, she and her husband decided to move to South Florida to continue their professional endeavors and start a family. Dr. Ospina-Herrera is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. A former ballet dancer, Dr. Ospina-Herrera is married to orthopedic surgeon Dr. Mauricio Herrera and they have 3 young children. She enjoys traveling, skiing, and rooting for her children at their soccer games.
