Dr. Gloria Perez
About
Dr Gloria Perez joins South Lake OB/GYN this fall after completing her OB/GYN residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. Dr. Perez was born and raised in Clermont, and is excited to start her career here in her hometown. During her four-year residency she managed and cared for high-risk pregnancies and performed complex gynecologic surgeries.
Dr. Perez is additionally trained in minimally invasive office based surgeries, decreasing the need for hospitalizations and fewer risks to her patients
Dr Gloria Perez has long been intrigued by science and medicine as evidenced by obtaining her Masters degree in Biochemistry. Soon after starting medical school, she quickly learned that her love and appreciation for the field of obstetrics and gynecology was unsurpassed. She is passionate about creating personal relationships with her patients and considers it a privilege to be able to participate in their most special, exciting and difficult moments. Dr. Perez makes it a priority to care for her patients with respect and dignity as they enter into each new stage of life. She aims to be an instrument on behalf of the ultimate healer, bringing her patients the very best care in body, mind and spirit. Dr. Perez also feels passionately called to bridge the gap between medicine and missions both locally and globally, having participated in multiple international medical missions in Africa.
Dr. Perez is married to her high school sweetheart of 10 years and has a beautiful daughter who brings immense joy to their lives. Her passion for family and community is what compelled Dr. Perez to return to Clermont. She looks forward to working with South Lake OBGYN and assisting patients as they start and grow their own families.
