Yes, our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. What does that mean? This means that they have ongoing written examinations and educational credits in the field. The intent of the certification of physicians is to provide assurance to the public that those certified by this board have successfully completed an approved training program and an evaluation process assessing their ability to provide quality patient care in the specialty. Dr. Tapia, Dr. Desai, Dr. Robertson, Dr. Bagwell, and Dr. Vignali are all board certified. For your reference, our board’s website is www.abog.org.
Our physicians do their best to be there for your delivery. As you know physicians can not be on call constantly. Our 4 physicians share after hours call, therefore, if you deliver after hours you may see one of your doctor’s partners. We occasionally cross-cover with Dr. John White, one of our well established colleagues. See Our Birth Plan
There are several good options for mammogram services. Twin Lakes, Port Orange Imaging, Florida Hospital Imaging and Palm Coast Imaging to name a few. If this is not your first mammogram, the best advice is to go where your last mammogram was done. However if you can’t or would like to go elsewhere, have your previous mammogram films sent over to the place of your choice so a comparison of past and present films can be done. All facilities will require an order and they will then send the results directly to us.
That depends on the type of test you had done. Some types of pathology and blood work may take longer than others. Please log in to your online patient portal to access results as soon as they become available to you. You may also ask your physician or nurse when you can expect to receive your results.
This is strictly a matter of choice. If you have not had one of our doctors recommended to you, go to our About Us page. Read about each physician and see who may best suit you. You are welcome to call and ask for additional information on our physicians if you wish.
If you call us prior to your visit and let us know why you are coming in, we can ESTIMATE the cost of your visit. We can not guarantee any fees until after you have had your appointment. Payment is expected at the time of service.
Payment is expected at the time of service. Payment arrangements may be an option in special cases. You may contact our billing office at 252-5858 ext. 7002 to discuss. We also accept payments made with CareCredit. CareCredit is a financial lending establishment. For more details please visit their website www.carecredit.com
I was very pleased with the service from this practice. The women at the front desk was very nice to me and treated me great! The medical assistant greeted me and politely walked me to my waiting room. The nurse practioner made sure that I was informed about the visit and she suggested a lot of things to me that I actually look back on today. I would really recommend this practice because the individuals working there know exactly what they are doing and ways to make sure you are pleased with your visit.
DR Desai is amazing! So glad he has been my OB/GYN for over 15 years! I love the staff! Would highly recommend! ❤
Caring doctors who are attentive to detail and supportive of your personal beliefs and wishes. Loved having them deliver my last two babies and I recommend them to everyone! ♥️
