In-Office Gynecologic Procedures in Coral Springs, FL
At Amara Women’s Health, Dr. Nadina Amara Tackore offers a range of gynecologic procedures that can be performed conveniently in the office. Providing these services in an outpatient setting can make evaluation and treatment more accessible while allowing patients to receive personalized care in a familiar, comfortable environment.
Dr. Tackore takes the time to explain what to expect before each procedure, answer questions, and help patients feel as comfortable and informed as possible throughout their care.
Diagnostic Hysteroscopy
Diagnostic hysteroscopy allows Dr. Tackore to examine the inside of the uterus using a thin, lighted instrument called a hysteroscope.
This procedure may be recommended when evaluating concerns such as:
- Abnormal or heavy uterine bleeding
- Bleeding between periods
- Suspected uterine polyps or fibroids
- Other abnormalities within the uterine cavity
Hysteroscopy can provide a direct view of the uterus and help determine whether additional treatment may be needed.
Operative Hysteroscopy
In some cases, hysteroscopy can also be used to treat certain conditions within the uterus.
Operative hysteroscopy may be used for procedures such as:
- Removal of uterine polyps
- Treatment or removal of certain fibroids
- Lysis of intrauterine adhesions
- Other targeted uterine treatments when appropriate
Dr. Tackore will review the reason for the procedure, treatment options, and what to expect based on your individual needs.
IUD Insertions and Removals
Intrauterine devices, or IUDs, are long-acting contraceptive options that are placed inside the uterus.
At Amara Women’s Health, Dr. Tackore provides:
- IUD counseling
- IUD insertion
- IUD removal
- Replacement when appropriate
- Follow-up for concerns related to an IUD
She uses a patient-centered, comfort-focused approach and takes time to discuss the procedure and answer questions beforehand.
Nexplanon® Insertions and Removals
Nexplanon® is a long-acting contraceptive implant that is placed beneath the skin of the upper arm.
Dr. Tackore offers both Nexplanon insertion and removal in the office and can help patients determine whether the implant is an appropriate contraceptive option based on their health history, lifestyle, and family-planning goals.
Endometrial Biopsy
An endometrial biopsy involves collecting a small sample of tissue from the lining of the uterus for further evaluation.
This procedure may be recommended when investigating:
- Abnormal uterine bleeding
- Heavy or prolonged periods
- Bleeding after menopause
- Changes in the uterine lining
- Other symptoms that require additional evaluation
The tissue sample is then sent for laboratory analysis to help determine whether further care or treatment is needed.
Colposcopy
A colposcopy is a more detailed examination of the cervix that may be recommended following an abnormal Pap smear or other cervical screening result.
During the procedure, Dr. Tackore uses magnification to closely examine the cervix and identify areas that may require further evaluation. If appropriate, a small tissue sample may also be collected for laboratory testing.

At Amara Women’s Health, Dr. Tackore combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, individualized approach so patients understand their procedure, their options, and the next steps in their care.
