Dr. Anthony Cardella
Dr. Anthony Cardella graduated magna cum laude in 1983 with his medical degree from the Universidad Centro de Estudios Tecnicos in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Following medical school, Dr. Cardella completed his internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida and his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
After his residency, Dr. Cardella returned to South Florida to pursue urogynecology training at the University of Miami and begin his private practice. He served as the director of urogynecology and pelvic floor reconstruction at the University of Miami Department of Gynecology from 1994 to 1995.
Dr. Cardella is board-certified in OB/GYN and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). He is also a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the William A. Little Obstetrics and Gynecology Society.
