Dr. Adriana M Castro was born in Miami, spent 8 years of her early childhood in Santurce, Puerto Rico and is a first generation Cuban-American. Because of this she is completely fluent in both English and Spanish. She graduated from the prestigious University of Miami and completed her pediatric residency at UM/ Jackson Memorial Hospital also in Miami. She held the position of Chief of Pediatrics for 8 years at Baptist Hospital of Miami and she has been in private practice for over 25 years. She has been awarded the highest (Level 3) PCMH certification for 7 consecutive years and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr Adriana M. Castro is a first generation Cuban-American who was born in Miami and spent 8 years of her early childhood in Santurce, Puerto Rico. She is completely fluent in English and Spanish and conversant in French. Through the Castro Pediatrics website, she hopes to provide additional web resources that provide information and knowledge for those looking to research ailments, find information, and prevent illness. Dr. Castro is the proud mother of 4 sons and brings this experience with a large dose of compassion and humor to all her interactions with her patients. Her motto is “I treat my patients with the same love and care I have for my own children”. Dr. Castro loves penguins, spending time with her family, and traveling.
