Meet Dr. Audrey Ofir

Dr. Audrey Ofir joined Children’s Medical Center in 2024, bringing over 35 years of experience in pediatric medicine. She previously served at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she directed the outpatient pediatric clinic and played a vital role in teaching residents and medical students. She combines expert clinical care with a deep commitment to teaching the next generation of pediatricians. She brings decades of experience and leadership to the children and families she serves.

Education & Training
Dr. Ofir earned her Doctor of Medicine from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. Additionally, she holds an MBA with a specialization in Healthcare Management and Policy from the University of Miami.

Originally from France, Dr. Ofir is fluent in French, Spanish, Hebrew, and English, enabling her to connect with a diverse range of families. She has a special interest in caring for children with complex medical needs and is deeply committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Ofir cherishes her family life as a mother of three children and grandmother to four grandchildren. Her rich cultural background and multilingual abilities help her connect deeply with a diverse community. She is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive pediatric care and mentoring future pediatricians.

Doctors Van Putten, Samuels, Gonzalez and Budowsky are the absolute best! I have a 5-year-old daughter who is particular about seeing a female doctor and gets frequent ear infections. They are always able to accommodate, assess and treat her as well as twin two year olds who can be difficult to manage. All of the physicians are incredibly nice, have plenty of patience, never rush you nor make you feel like whatever is happening is abnormal.

I drive 40 minutes one way to this doctor because they always get us in (even on weekends and holidays) and provide great service. Great place! My 10 week old daughter had an eye infection. We called them and got an immediate appointment. We walked in and were seen by a doctor within minutes. The doctor turned out to be the same Doctor who had been my wife’s pediatrician when she was a child. This was our third visit to this location since our baby was born and the staff are always great.
