Jasmine Sicard
Jasmine is a board certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She began her studies at Florida State University and earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology and Exercise Science Physiology. Afterwards, she transitioned into Nursing and acquired a Bachelor’s Degree from Broward College and a Master’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University. Her career began as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry at Mount Sinai Medical Center before finding her passion and love for Labor and Delivery. She worked as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse at Northwest Medical Center and Memorial Regional Hospital for 6 years. She is currently furthering her studies in nursing and will obtain her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in December 2020.
Jasmine is passionate about women’s health including gynecology, adolescent education and reproductive health. Currently, she’s conducting quality improvement research on the use of probiotics to improve vaginal health in women who suffer from recurrent vaginitis. In addition, Jasmine has served as a medical mission volunteer in Guatemala providing free healthcare to families and free pelvic examinations to women within those underserved communities. Her professional endeavors align with her passionate desire to enhance the lives of all women, by encouraging active participation in optimizing their own health and overall wellness.
Joyful moments include enjoying the beach, traveling, spending time with her husband, family and two Yorkshire Terriers.
