Katherine Fitzgerald is a South Florida Native. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Barry University. Katherine began her professional career as a Registered Nurse, at Baptist Hospital, gaining clinical experience, in a medical/surgical unit, while finishing her Master’s degree.
After three years of bedside nursing, she embarked on her twenty-year journey as a Nurse Practitioner, focusing on women’s health, beginning in Gynecologic Oncology at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, for seven years. The knowledge, compassion, and drive that started and blossomed in the oncology setting is what has made her into the Nurse Practitioner she is today, and she has continued to be passionate about the care of women in the outpatient Gynecologic setting for the last thirteen years.
She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner, by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In her off time, Katherine enjoys the outdoors, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Noel is truly the best Gynecologist. She will sit and listen to all of your concerns and explain everything to you in detail. She will put your mind at ease while also always taking the appropriate steps to rule out any concern. She is very thorough and is just so easy to talk to. She is always open to discussing new ideas and new ways to tackle my PCOS. I recommend her always for everyone. Her office staff is also very efficient and the office itself is so modern and beautiful. Overall, just great experience, great Doctor, everything’s great!
It is very favorable to have Doctors who care and who organize their schedules without excessive waiting time. Dr. Noel and Dr. Zakaria are these Doctors. Excellent practice, excellent people. Lovely, comfortable office too!
When I first called to make an appointment I wanted to see Dr. Noel because you know, “women can understand women better” but she didn’t have any appointments available so I made an appointment with Dr. Zakaria and I have to say that absolutely love this doctor, he is the most professional and knowledgeable doctor I have ever had. He’s caring, takes the time to explain every step of treatments or procedures follows-up on his patients, I can’t imagine myself going to a different doctor, I absolutely trust him.

I managed to get an appointment with Dr Zakaria at short notice last week and the whole process was very efficient and stress-free. The office itself is very clean and well-run. Dr Zakaria was very respectful, he listened to my concerns and recommended treatment in a way that was easy to understand. Exactly the type of place and people you want when it comes to your health.

Dr. Noel is the best obstetrician and is very professional and really listens to her patients. She is easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable. On top of that, everyone in the office is friendly, courteous, and helpful. The office is extremely clean and pristine. I highly recommend Dr. Noel.
I have known Dr. Noel for almost 12 years She delivered my 2nd son and I would not have had it any other way. Dr. Noel has the most caring bed side manners, she is kind, professional and connects easily with her patients. I have not seen her in 5 year’s and when I recently had to meet with her, it was as if no time had passed since my last visit. So grateful I met Dr. Noel so many years ago, and I will continue to be her patient no matter the distance.
Dr. Noel is an amazing, attentive, helpful and thorough doctor. I have been with her for several years. Her staff is clean, nice, and efficient. They follow up immediately on all tests. I even got my mammogram results from her the same day of the test!!! She’s so easy to talk to, too. The office is super clean, and I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment.
