Dr. Cruz-Pachano was born in Quito, Ecuador where he completed medical school at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador. He then moved to Miami to undergo his specialty training at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was elected chief resident and was the recipient of numerous awards and honors during his training. He stayed at the University to complete his subspecialty in gynecological ultrasound and guided procedures. During this time Dr Cruz also received a national award for excellence in teaching. Dr Cruz joined Bayshore Women’s Healthcare in 2012, his areas of expertise include ultrasound, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, and high risk obstetrics.
