Colposcopy

Colposcopy is an examination of the cervix, vagina, and vulva typically performed to do a biopsy when Pap smear results are abnormal.

Biopsy

A biopsy is a sample of tissue taken from the cervix, endometrium (lining of the uterus), or cervical canal that is tested in a lab to determine whether abnormal cells are precancerous or cancerous.

LEEP

LEEP stands for Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure. It’s a treatment that prevents cervical cancer. A small electrical wire loop is used to remove abnormal cells from your cervix. LEEP surgery may be performed after abnormal cells are found during a Pap test, colposcopy, or biopsy.

Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is a procedure used to examine the uterus and diagnose and treat causes of abnormal bleeding, such as fibroids and polyps.

Ultrasound

In gynecology, a transvaginal ultrasound utilizes a wand device that is inserted through the vagina to provide images of your reproductive organs and structures. It can help our doctors diagnose the cause of pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, menstrual problems, and infertility.

In obstetrics, a pregnancy ultrasound is used to monitor fetal growth and detect abnormalities or complications

MonaLisa Touch®

This minimally invasive vaginal laser procedure is performed to address certain symptoms of menopause including vaginal dryness, burning, itching, all of which can cause pain during sexual intercourse. Laser energy applied to the vaginal wall stimulates the growth of new collagen, elastin, and vascularization.

Pelvic Floor Therapy

This is a form of physical therapy for weakened pelvic floor muscles, which can cause incontinence, constipation, chronic pelvic pain, and painful intercourse.

IUD Insertion

An intrauterine device (IUD) is a small T-shaped plastic device that is inserted into the uterus to prevent pregnancy. It is a long-term, reversible, and highly effective birth control method. We offer ParaGard®, Mirena®, Kyleena®, Liletta®, and Skyla®.
