That is a good sign it’s time to take a trip to our office. Dr. Zeng and her staff can help you order the hormone evaluation tests you need to get some clarity. What Happens at the Doctor?
It is always best to come into the office first. This is a great first step to getting you feeling healthier. Dr. Zeng will ask questions to determine which tests would be most helpful. You will be able to ask any of your own questions as well. This is a good time to gain a better understanding as to what the evaluation means. You will leave feeling much better knowing that your hormone evaluation is ordered and understanding how they will help.
Assessing the Results
You will want to get your hormones checked during the first few days of your cycle ideally. This gives you a baseline of hormone levels. You might have ordered a hormone panel test that includes estrogen, progesterone, follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone. If there were additional tests you asked for, such as a thyroid test or blood sugar level test, you will get those results promptly as well. The essential thing is helping you understand what the results mean. We explain them in a simple way so you can find the best solution quickly.

Doctor O Xiao-Mei P Zeng is a genius! I met her for the first time last week. I was very nervous as all of my care has been at Yale medical in Ct. My medical situation has been complicated involving cancer. For years I’ve suffered with no answers until I met with Dr. Zeng, she examined me and immediately diagnosed my years of suffering! I have been going to Dr. Xiao-Mei Zeng for the past 10 years and she is absolutely the most caring and compassionate doctor. She is most attentive and listened to my concerns about menopause and instantly knew how to alleviate my symptoms. On a separate note, she delivered my granddaughter. My daughter had the best labor with no pain. It was unbelievable how things have changed for the better when giving birth. There is no other physician like Dr. Zeng! I can’t say enough good things about her. Firstly, her offices in both Delray and Boca Raton are pristine and a pleasure to visit. Dr Zeng is amazing! I trust her with my life. Staff is great. They have been with me for both my deliveries. I drive over a hour to come see them. Yes, I did that with both pregnancies. That’s how much I trust her and her staff. Wait time sometimes get out of hand but remember she is helping a mother in need or some emergency that needs her.
