Dr. Manuel Fernandez
Dr. Manuel Fernandez is a board-certified skilled and experience emergency physician and family doctor. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology in 1995 Then proceeded to do his medical education at the UPR School of Medicine where he graduated with distinction in 1999. He went on to complete his Emergency Medicine residency training at the UPR School of Medicine Emergency Medicine Program.
He has been practicing Emergency Medicine since 2002 and has been an attending physician at Memorial Hospital Pembroke Emergency Department since 2003. Since 2010, Dr. Fernandez has been practicing, as well, as a Primary Care physician at Boriken Family Health and Wellness Center. Board-certified in Emergency Medicine in 2003 with recertification in 2013.
Education & Training
Amazing level of professionalism and knowledge. Usually medical appointments are cold and non-pleasent but here is a warm family pleasent environement. My prescription was sent electronically to my pharmacy of choice. The office staff is welcoming and provide amazing customer service. Cleanliness is an obvious as soon as you walk in. A+ in my book.
The staff and doctor are amazing. Each staff was so helpful and went the extra mile to serve me during my visit. The doctor spent time with me to insure that she answered all of my questions. I was not rushed out of the office, and was so thankful. They are definitely a service oriented doctor’s office. The best I have been to since I moved to South Florida 20 years ago! Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
Boriken Family is truly a family practice. I feel comfortable and relaxed when I visit the doctor. Dr Zambrana cares a lot for her patients and their health.
