Edileidis Tarrio, APRN-BC

Edileidis Tarrio MSN, APRN-BC, OCN, RNFA, CN-BP is a double-board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Edileidis completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami.

Originally from Cuba, Edileidis was raised in Hialeah, FL. Since 2012, Edileidis has dedicated her care and compassion to the field of oncology. Ms. Tarrio worked as a senior oncology nurse providing superior care at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center prior to joining Breast Care Center Miami as a Nurse Practitioner. In this role, she has gained exceptional knowledge in evaluating and managing benign, abnormal imaging and high-risk lesions of the breast with major focus in breast malignancy. She gained mastery in assessing high risk patients; obtaining detailed family history and performing genetic evaluation and testing. She obtained certification in cancer risk assessment through the City of Hope Clinical Division of Cancer Genomics Intensive Course in Clinical Cancer Genomics. In addition, she became a certified First Surgical Assistant and certified Navigator-Breast Provider for breast cancer patients.
