OUR TEAM

Dr. Armando Hernandez-Rey MD

Armando Hernandez-Rey, MD is a board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist. He specializes in treating patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), recurrent pregnancy loss (miscarriage), and severe endometriosis. He is especially interested in fertility preservation (egg freezing) for patients who must delay childbearing for personal or medical reasons, including cancer and systemic lupus erythematosus.

Dr. Sangita JindalPH.D.

Sangita K. Jindal, PhD, HCLD is Associate Professor and IVF Laboratory Director at Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx NY. She received her PhD in reproductive physiology at the University of Toronto. In addition to directing clinical labs and ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, Sangita teaches REI fellows and mentors clinical research.

Dr. Trisha ShahReproductive Endocrinologist

Dr. Trisha Shah is passionate about inclusive family building for all. As a fertility specialist, she is committed to educate, empower, and provide individualized care as one navigates decisions and choices around reproductive health and growing their family.

Maggie GonzalezPhysician Assistant

Maggie Gonzalez PA-C, MMS graduated from Nova Southeastern University PA Program in 2004 followed by a Trauma/General Surgery and Critical Care Residency at JMH/Ryder Trauma Center completed in 2005. She practiced as Chief Physician Assistant at Memorial Regional Hospital in Trauma/General Surgery and Critical Care for 11 years.

Yissell CastroMSN, APRN, FNP-C

Yissell Castro, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Chamberlain University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2025. With nearly a decade of experience in reproductive medicine, Yissell brings extensive clinical expertise, leadership, and a deep commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered fertility care.

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Service

Studies recently showed that nearly 15% of American couples are infertile. Medicinally, this means the inability to conceive a child after one year of unprotected intercourse.

Fertility Preservation

We offer safe options for women who want to freeze their eggs to preserve their fertility. With new technology that freezes eggs very quickly, called vitrification, doctors can achieve a 70% to 80% fertilization rate with thawed eggs.
