We are a premiere women’s healthcare specialty group committed to providing compassionate and trusted gynecological and obstetrical care to women in all stages of life, from the pre-teen to the elderly. With a combined 35 years of medical experience and superb reputations, Dr. Rachel Bernstein and Dr. Patricia Calvo are proud to practice in their new, state-of-the-art office — a luxurious space focused on providing services and educating patients in a warm, comfortable and inviting environment.
Previously practicing together out of Holy Cross Hospital, Dr. Bernstein and Dr. Calvo founded For Women Only to raise the bar in obstetrical and gynecological care. For Women Only partners with the region’s most respected perinatologists and ultrasound technicians to provide a full array of services needed by South Florida’s unique and diverse patient group.
In 2024, we welcomed Dr. Daniel Gomez to the practice. Dr. Gomez is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon and OBGYN as well as an Affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor of OBGYN at Nova Southeastern University. Dr Gomez, Dr. Bernstein and Dr. Calvo previously worked together when Dr. Gomez was the Chief of the Department of OBGYN at Holy Cross Hospital. Dr Gomez brings a fresh new outlook on Womens Health and minimally invasive surgical techniques and will make a fantastic asset to our team of medical professionals.
Dr. Bernstein, Dr. Calvo and Dr. Gomez are all board-certified diplomates and Fellows of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Dr. Gomez is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. We are pleased to bring you the best in Womens Health.

Dr. Calvo is by far the best doctor I have ever seen. She cared for me during my pregnancy, delivered my baby girl, and is still seeing me postpartum due to hypertension issues. I had a high risk pregnancy for multiple reasons, and Dr. Calvo always made sure to explain everything in great detail to me and made sure I received the best care possible. She’s very personable and makes you feel like more than just another patient. The office is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
