Efren Salinero, MD, FAAP
Dr. Efren Salinero was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Miami in 1973 and his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriwuez Urena Medical School in 1978. He then completed his pediatric residency at University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital. Following completion of his residency in 1982 he became one of the founding fathers of Gables Pediatrics. Since then he has helped oversee and lead the development of the group into the premier practice it has become today.
He is board certified in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. In addition, he is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
