About Dr. Emilio Juncosa

Emilio Juncosa, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologist dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care for women in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and the surrounding communities. With decades of experience, Dr. Juncosa takes a patient-centered approach to women’s healthcare, ensuring each patient receives the time, attention, and individualized treatment they deserve.

At his practice, Dr. Juncosa provides comprehensive gynecologic care, including annual well-woman exams, preventive care, hormone replacement therapy, pelvic floor therapy, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and second opinions for gynecologic procedures. He treats a wide range of conditions, including endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and menopause symptoms.

Dr. Juncosa earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating cum laude from Yale College in New Haven, Connecticut, before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from Yale School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City in 1988.

Throughout his career, Dr. Juncosa has remained committed to advancing women’s healthcare through continued education and clinical research. He previously served as an investigator for Yale School of Medicine, studying the use of amniocentesis in the detection of amnionitis, and as a sub-investigator for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Dr. Juncosa is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). He is affiliated with Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines.
