Dr. Laura Florez was born in Colombia. She obtained a Biological Sciences Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University (FIU). She then went on to pursue her medical degree from Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at FIU.
Dr. Florez obtained her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Health System. Her training encompassed routine and high risk obstetrics as well as minimally invasive gynecologic procedures including hysteroscopy.
