Dr. Liat Corcia

Pediatric Endocrinology

During her time there, she researched closed loop insulin therapy (artificial pancreas system) in young children with type 1 diabetes. During her pediatric endocrinology fellowship at the University of Miami, her interests turned to childhood obesity, type 2 diabetes prevention, and the treatment of various general endocrine disorders.

Throughout her studies, she has taken an active role in trainee education and enjoys continuing to serve as a teacher and mentor. Her compassionate nature brings warmth to the practice, and puts her young patients at ease when discussing their issues. Particularly in her field, where hormonal problems may have an impact on a child’s emotional well-being, Dr. Corcia is keen on building trusting relationships.
