Dr. Rachel Ciaccio

Dr. Rachel Ciaccio graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 1995. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in 1999. She then completed her residency training at Winthrop University Hospital (now NYU Long Island Hospital) in 2003. The final year she served as Chief Resident.

She became board certified in 2004 and has since held her Maintenance of Certification continuously. She began practicing medicine in private practice in Westerly, RI during which time she also served as Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Westerly Hospital. She then returned home joining Women’s Health Partners in 2008.

Since then, she has served as the Chairperson of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at West Boca Medical Center and has continued to stay active in hospital administration serving on several committees.

She pursued additional training in robotics in 2019 and was certified on the Intuitive da Vinci Robot. Since then, she has enjoyed providing a full range of minimally invasive procedures to South Florida including endometriosis evaluation and resection, myomectomy, ovarian surgeries and hysterectomies. Additionally, she is also certified in the uterine sparing Acessa procedure.

Her expertise includes general obstetrics and gynecology, management of complex and high-risk pregnancies including multiple gestations, medical and surgical management of heavy menstrual bleeding, fibroids and ovarian disorders, as well as minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

With her commitment to excellence in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Ciaccio has been the recipient of numerous Top Doctor awards through FLTopDocs, The Boca Raton Observer, Palm Beach Illustrated, and Palm Beach Media Group. These recognitions are a symbol of her dedication, accomplishment, and devotion to patient care.
