Prenatal care is essential and one of the best ways to promote a healthy birth. Regular doctor visits allow to monitor you and your baby’s health, and to spot problems early on if they were to arise. You should schedule your first prenatal appointment with one of our practitioners as soon as you think you are pregnant.

We provide general obstetric services and offer care for women with low and high-risk pregnancies. This includes women with preexisting medical conditions, and women with complicated and multiple pregnancies. We are proud to count on the support of excellent Perinatology practices. Thus, if the need for these services arises, we can provide our patients with additional support and State-of-the-Art testing.

So, you become familiar with our office and to make you feel at ease and comfortable, you will be scheduled for at least one appointment with each one of Our Providers. Please consult the links below to get acquainted with the process

The ideal time for these ultrasounds is between 28-32 weeks. If you are an established patient in our practice and are now pregnant, contact our office at (305) 661-7766 to schedule.

No drug can be considered 100% safe during pregnancy. Here you will find a list of over the counter (OTC) medications that are considered safe for you to use.

Please always ask your doctor about any medications you are about to take. Your situation and possible complications may be different. If you are on any medications or would like to take medication, not on this list, check with your doctor to make sure it is safe. Do not take more than the recommended doses and, if possible, avoid taking anything during the first trimester, when the baby is most vulnerable. Below you will find helpful links with information about medications and pregnancy.

Safe Medications

It is best to have an exercise routine in place before becoming pregnant. All individuals without a contraindication, including pregnant women, should exercise 30 minutes daily for at least five days of the week.
Please see Maria De La Torre our Obstetrical Coordinator, for more details on these services performed by our physicians.
