Having an accomplished, skilled, and trustworthy Obstetrician is paramount in order to optimize the health of the mother-to-be and developing fetus. Dr. Martinez provides the most up to date obstetrical care based on current available guidelines to reach the ultimate goal of every patient and their loved ones: a healthy mom and baby. Dr. Martinez is part of the medical staff at Memorial Hospital Miramar.

  • Comprehensive prenatal care, including most high risk pregnancies
  • First and second trimester screening for Down syndrome, open neural tube defects, and other chromosomal abnormalities
  • Genetic screening and counseling
  • Office based obstetrical ultrasound (first trimester)
  • Surgical & non-surgical treatment of cervical insufficiency, including cerclage placement
  • Prevention and management of preterm labor
  • Vaginal and Cesarean deliveries
  • Collection for private cord blood/tissue banking
  • Permanent sterilization (tubal ligation or removal)
  • Postpartum care
  • Evaluation and management for recurrent miscarriages
