Dr. Dudley Brown, Jr. is an award-winning, board-certified OB-GYN with over 25 years of administrative and clinical experience. Dr. Brown is a skilled surgeon, who takes time to thoroughly explain things to each patient. He has achieved several Excellence in Education awards and has been recognized by “Legacy Palm Beach” as a top doctor. In 2019, Dr. Brown was also elected by his peers to serve as the Chairperson of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jupiter Medical Center for a traditional term of 4 years. During that time, he facilitated several critical changes, including the addition of the OB Hospitalist Program which provides 24/7 in-hospital coverage by an OB/Gyn physician. This has resulted improved patient safety and positive outcomes. At the end of that term, his peers again elected him to serve as the Vice Chief of Staff for Jupiter Medical Center. He is currently in that role where he oversees the Peer Review/Quality Committee.
Our practice is a small “get to know you” boutique type of practice. Our goal is to provide excellent medical care and customer service. Each staff member believes in treating people as we would want to be treated and has worked as a team to create a warm and welcoming environment.
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), suggests gynecologic care begin between the ages of 13 – 15 years. At that time we focus on health education and symptom management. Pelvic exams are not typically indicated until later, which is when we initiate important screenings and yearly exams. As as one becomes sexually active, it is vital that they have a doctor/provider they can trust to advise common gynecological conditions, and lifestyle strategies. Perimenopause and menopause is a time when a new list of health questions begin to emerge. It is a time of great change in a woman’s body and mind, and often requires the help or intervention of a health professional. Whatever the stage you may find yourself in, you can trust that the Brown Institute team has the expertise to help you live life to the fullest.
