Dr. Daniel Lorido, MD, MPH is a South Florida native who completed both his undergraduate education and medical degree at the University of Miami. He went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.
During his residency, Dr. Lorido developed a strong interest in caring for high-risk pregnancies, promoting overall health through lifestyle modifications, and reducing cesarean section rates. His residency research focused on identifying factors that predict successful vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), and his work was accepted for presentation at the ACOG national conference. He was also the recipient of multiple teaching awards, as voted by medical students throughout his years at Montefiore.
Dr. Lorido earned his MD-MPH degree through the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s combined four-year program. Throughout his training, he remained deeply committed to community service, volunteering at clinics across South Florida from West Palm Beach to the Florida Keys. He also served as a public health director for an organization that coordinated medical missions to the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Lorido is bilingual in English and Spanish. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cycling, snowboarding, and cheering on the Miami Dolphins.
