Dr. Jennifer Schell

Dr. Jennifer Schell is a board-certified OB-GYN who joined FemCare in 2026 after more than 15 years in practice. She graduated from medical school Summa Cum Laude and completed her OB-GYN training at UT Southwestern Medical Center, training at the renowned Parkland Hospital in Dallas — one of the most competitive and high-volume programs in the nation — and graduated in 2012. Her training shaped her to be thorough, calm under pressure, and deeply respectful of the privilege of caring for women through some of the most important moments of their lives.

Born in Miami and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Schell is bilingual in English and Spanish and brings a warm, personable, and down-to-earth approach to every visit. Having experienced infertility, miscarriages, and the emotional complexities of pregnancy and postpartum herself, she understands both the medicine and the human side of women’s health. In addition to obstetrics and postpartum care, she has a special interest in helping women navigate perimenopause — addressing mood changes, fatigue, hormonal shifts, and the often-overlooked symptoms that can affect quality of life. Known for her reassuring presence and ability to make even nervous patients feel at ease, she combines evidence-based care with genuine connection — offering thoughtful guidance during pregnancy, attentive support postpartum, and comprehensive gynecologic care at every stage of life.
