Dermatology

Dermatology is a medical specialty that treats diseases of the skin, hair, and nails.  Dermatology is practiced by a medical doctor who, after finishing medical school, continues with additional specialized residency training.

Dermatologists treat a variety of diseases such as acne, eczema, warts, contact dermatitis, and rosacea as well as more complex dermatologic diseases such as skin cancers like malignant melanoma and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma which can be very serious and life-threatening.  Dermatologists also provide cosmetic and aesthetic treatments and procedures.  These range from chemical peels and facials to dermal fillers and specialized laser treatments to improve, enhance, and restore the appearance of the skin.

Healthy, good-looking skin is a sign of general well-being, but also the result of regular care and maintenance.

Patient Feedback

“Dr. Bridges is an excellent dermatologist and my family has been seeing him for years, starting with my two sons during puberty for acne which I believe saved their skin from scarring, my husband for skin tags and now myself for cherry angioma removal, rosacea and other skin concerns. Dr. Bridges quickly gets to the root of the problem and offers solutions that work without all of the run around with procedures that don’t work. I highly recommend Dr. Bridges!”
