About Dr. Fielding

Dr. Stephen Fielding came to Miami from the Midwest and instantly fell in love with the vibrant culture, warm weather, and everything Miami has to offer. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor and master in biology. He went on to also earn his Master of Public Health from Indiana University where he gained an appreciation for preventive medicine.

Dr. Fielding earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and decided to devote his career to women’s health. He then came to Miami and completed his postgraduate education in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. As chief resident at the University of Miami, he was recognized with the award for best research for his work on high risk pregnancies and cesarean sections.

Patients appreciate Dr. Fielding’s warm manner and personal attention. He enjoys helping his patients through any difficulties that may arise during their pregnancies. He is also skilled in the full range of women’s health, gynecology, and surgical options. Dr. Fielding offers his patients the latest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery and will be happy to help you find the option that is best for you.

Dr. Fielding shares his life with his wife, Lauren, and their young son. He enjoys running year-round, getting outside in the warm weather, and rooting for all the Miami sports teams.
