Dr. Silvia Coronel, MD was raised in Palm Beach County and is delighted to be treating patients in her hometown. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and has a special interest in preventative care. She began her professional education at the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. After graduation, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University. She was then accepted into Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine where she earned her medical degree. She matched into the University of Southern California Internal Medicine Residency Program where she trained at both LAC+USC Medical Center and Keck Hospital USC. After completing residency, she worked a few years as a hospitalist and then began working as a primary care physician. Dr. Coronel is bilingual in English and Spanish. She enjoys providing comprehensive care to her patients and helping them achieve their health goals.
